2018 Alternative Accountability Policy Forum RAPSA’s Alternative Accountability Policy Forum brings education leaders, workforce development agencies, researchers and advocates for At Promise students together to discuss policies and practices that engage and demonstrate successful post-secondary outcomes for reengaged students. Last year we had 50 presenters with 24 panels addressing 285 attendees from 20 states. If you’d like to be among them, please follow the directions below to submit a 75 word description and list of presenters by July 27, 2018.
AAPF Presentations We’re looking for 60-minute presentations that describe the implementation of policies and practices that are represented in the PACE Summary of Proceedings - Policy Forum Proceedings. We’re looking for innovative approaches that demonstrate success with At Promise youth by providing wrap around community based services. Successful proposals will include a brief explanation of how your presentation will encourage interaction with attendees; provide evidence of success; and concrete examples of how the policies and/or practices are being implemented.
Conversation Sessions There are a limited number of Conversation Sessions available as well. Conversation Sessions maximize collaboration and networking and build on a presenter’s recognized national expertise. Each will have one or two leaders and 20 to 30 collaborators. Your role as leader of a conversation session is to encourage conversation by reversing the time slots of traditional sessions. You introduce a topic in no more than 15 minutes and facilitate 45 minutes of conversation with open ended questions seeking a variety of perspectives.
