Craig Beswick began his career in charter schools in 2005 when he moved San Diego from Philadelphia after serving meritoriously as a US Army, Patriot Missile Operator in South Korea. Upon returning from the Army, Beswick obtained his Bachelors in Education and a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential at West Chester University. After a brief stint working in residential facilities for foster youth, he served as an Educational Specialist for Access Inc. At Access Inc., he developed programs for their federally funded, wrap-around service model, simultaneously worked for an independent study charter, and obtained a Master’s Degree at Alliant International University. Based on that experience, Beswick earned a Principal position at Diego Valley Charter School. After leading Diego Valley Charter and Diego Springs Academy and opening several resource centers, he was promoted to the Regional Director of Educational Services for Learn4Life where he supports and oversees professional development, professional learning communities, new teacher development, instructional design, WASC, LCAP, CTE, partnerships, and grant development for the San Diego region.
