
Delaine Eastin was the California Superintendent of Public Instruction from 1995 to 2003 where she oversaw California’s State Department of Education. Ms. Eastin was the first woman elected to California’s highest statewide education office.
On November 15 as a speaker at the 2nd Annual Alternative Accountability Policy Forum, Delaine Eastin will lead a panel discussion on Providing Wrap-Around Services for At-Risk Youth. View the Agenda
The Policy Forum will bring together education leaders who serve at-risk students to formulate State and Federal policy proposals. In November 2012, education leaders from 12 states came together. In June, 2013 we grew to representatives from 22 states.
This is an opportunity to hear from researchers and educators around the country; an opportunity to share what's working for you; and to learn how to work together to advance alternative accountability.
