Nominees may include reengaged students or others who have faced unusual barriers to completing their high school education and did so recognizing the value of a high school diploma for personal, family or community accomplishments.
Nominees should have received or will receive their diplomas in the 2015-16 or 2016-17 year. Nominations are encouraged to include a 2-minute video that introduces the nominee and their courage.
The $1,000 scholarship is a one-time grant courtesy of Renaissance Learning and Learn4Life. The distribution will be made to the college or career technical institution that the award winner enrolls in.
The deadline for the RAPSA Heart and Vision awards are also open until September 30th.
