Randy DeHoff serves as Vice Chairman of the Board and Director of Strategic Growth of GlobalEd Solutions, a Colorado Public Benefit Corporation that provides Education Management Services focused on serving at-promise students. They currently serve over 2000 students in Colorado, including adults. He served on the Colorado State Board of Education from 1999 through 2010, including terms as Vice-Chairman and Chairman of the Board. He has been an advocate for school choice, especially Charter Schools, since helping to found one of the first charter schools in Colorado in 1994. In 2005 he was appointed to be the first Executive Director of the newly created Colorado Charter School Institute, a statewide chartering authority. In five years under his leadership the Institute grew to oversee 18 schools educating over 6500 students throughout Colorado. Mr. DeHoff has served on several National Association of State Boards of Education study groups, and on the NASBE Board of Directors. He represented NASBE on the Steering Committee to revise the standards for the 2004 NAEP Math Assessment. The Colorado League of Charter Schools awarded him their Policymaker Charter Friend Award in 2002 and 2010.
